Burns Cowboy Shop's Gus Hat with studded leather hat band was also chosen to be featured in the Holiday Gift Guide, page 177.
In our ad for the December issue of Cowboys and Indians we choose to feature the Cheyenne Ladies Lucchese Boot. 2010 Sundance Film Festival was 10 days packed with busy excitement! A big thank you to all the Burns team members that made last years festival a success.
Highlights of 2010 festival include:
Joey and Rory, country music 2009 ACM nominees for new duo of the year came into our shop on Saturday the 30th, Joey bought a new custom shirt of ours to wear for a photo shoot for their new album. They sang two songs for us, the "Boot Song" and their new hit, Cheater, Cheater; I am still in awe at Joey's incredible voice. Alan Michael leather designer was our feature artist the last weekend of Sundance, Joey tried on many of Alan's beautiful leather jacket creations, she looked simply breathtaking. I have never witnessed anyone that adored his wife like Rory does Joey, he resonates love towards her with every gaze . .

While working trade shows across the country, your booth has always lured me in to look around. My feet always hurt and I'd have to change boots a couple times a day, UNTIL another vendor recommended Lucchese boots. She bought hers from Burns Saddlery, so I took her recommendation and bought mine the next day in Sacramento.
WOW, what a difference. Now I have three pair. I can wear them for up to 5 days until I need to change my footwear when I'm on my feet all day. I have recommended them to EVERYBODY!

I am writing this letter to let you know that I appreciate your store and all that it has for me. I love to come to Salina and see the big black horse outside, it tells me that I am at Burns Saddlery. I like to walk in and smell the leather saddles, boots and chaps. I come to Burns every time I need something western. Your quality is the best, and the store is always nice and clean. Everything is at fair price and that helps a lot these days. Thanks again for a great store.

Barrel racers if you are buying your first saddle or needing a new one please consider the Burns Saddlery custom made barrel saddle. I bought one last summer and liked it so much that I bought a second one!! I like the saddle because of the “pocket” it has for my backside so when riding I stay in a secure position. It “sits” me in a way so that during competition I am in better control of myself thus also of my horse.
The quality of the workmanship rivals any saddle on the market. Before I bought my second saddle I had another saddle maker look at my first Burns custom barrel saddle. He was impressed with the quality of the materials as well as the workmanship.
I not only use my Burns custom barrel saddle for training and competition but also for trail riding. It goes on my 3 year old filly as well as my 11 year old gelding . It is the only saddle I use. My other 3 saddles, not Burns saddles, stay in the tack room.
After 15 years and 4 other brand name saddles I finally found the fit and the feel I was looking for in a barrel saddle. Without reservation I would recommend the Burns Saddlery custom barrel saddle to anyone.
