Burns Saddlery — Salina, Utah

Salina is where the saddles get made. It's the original Burns shop, and it's still the bench come in and you can watch the work happen: trees being fit, leather being tooled, saddles going together the same way they have since 1876.

This is the location to visit if you want a saddle fitted. Bring your horse, or bring measurements and photos, and one of our makers will walk you through what will and won't work for the two of you. There's no charge for the conversation, and we'll tell you honestly if what you're after isn't the right call.

Salina carries the full line, saddles, tack, hats, boots and leather goods — plus repair, cleaning and oiling for gear you already own. If you're driving in from out of the area, call ahead and we'll make sure the right person is here when you arrive.
